AntiSick is published by Chenglin Wu. This Privacy Policy explains how AntiSick and its website handle information. AntiSick is designed as a local-first comfort tool for passengers and does not require an account.
1. Information We Handle
1.1 Information stored on your device
AntiSick stores the following information locally on your device:
- onboarding profile choices, such as age group, motion-sensitivity level, triggers, and travel preferences;
- journey records, including duration, selected comfort tool, and optional comfort feedback;
- progress, milestones, free-preview usage, and feature preferences; and
- purchase-access status used to decide whether Pro features are available.
This information is stored with Apple’s on-device storage technologies. AntiSick does not provide an account system or upload these records to an AntiSick server. Removing the app removes its local app data, subject to normal iOS backup and restore behavior controlled by Apple.
Camera frames and device-motion readings are processed temporarily on your device to provide Live Camera and motion-linked visual cues. AntiSick does not record, save, or upload camera frames or raw motion readings.
1.2 RevenueCat purchase processing
AntiSick uses RevenueCat to manage purchases and restore Pro access. RevenueCat may process a pseudonymous app user identifier, product identifiers, transaction or receipt information, subscription status, entitlement status, and limited app, device, and network information needed to validate and operate purchases. RevenueCat handles this information under its own privacy policy.
1.3 Apple payment processing
All purchases are completed through Apple’s In-App Purchase system. Apple processes payment details, storefront information, transaction records, refunds, and subscription management under Apple’s terms and privacy policies. AntiSick does not receive your full payment-card details.
1.4 Support messages and website delivery
AntiSick does not ask for your name, email address, or phone number inside the app. If you email support, your email address, message, and any attachments you choose to send are processed only so we can respond and resolve your request.
The AntiSick website is delivered through Cloudflare. Cloudflare may process standard request information such as IP address, browser details, and security logs to deliver and protect the website. The website does not use advertising or analytics cookies.
1.5 Information we do not collect through the app
AntiSick has no advertising SDK, analytics SDK, social features, or user-account system. The app does not collect your precise location, contacts, microphone audio, photo library, advertising identifier, or activity across other apps and websites.
2. How We Use Information
We use information only to:
- personalize initial comfort-tool settings;
- operate visual cues, guided breathing, soothing audio, and Live Camera;
- save journey history, progress, milestones, feedback, and preferences;
- enforce the free preview and unlock Pro features;
- validate, restore, and maintain purchase access;
- provide support and respond to questions; and
- deliver and secure the AntiSick website.
3. Sharing and Service Providers
We do not sell personal information. Information may be processed only by service providers needed to operate AntiSick:
- Apple: App Store distribution, payments, refunds, subscription management, and device backup or restore behavior;
- RevenueCat: purchase validation, subscription status, entitlement management, and purchase restoration;
- Cloudflare: website delivery, performance, and security; and
- email service providers: delivery and storage of support correspondence you initiate.
These providers handle information under their own terms and privacy policies.
4. Permissions
- Camera: used only when you choose Live Camera to show a real-time passenger view behind the visual cues. AntiSick does not record, save, or upload camera images.
- Motion & Fitness: used to read device motion and animate visual cues during a ride. Raw motion readings are processed temporarily on your device and are not saved or shared.
You can deny or revoke either permission in iOS Settings. Features that do not need the denied permission remain available.
5. Your Choices
You can change app preferences, decline camera or motion access, stop using Live Camera, delete the app to remove local app data, manage subscriptions in your Apple Account settings, and use Restore Purchases inside AntiSick. You may also contact us to ask about support correspondence you previously sent.
6. Children’s Privacy
AntiSick may be used by families, but it does not provide accounts, advertising, chat, public profiles, or public user-generated content. We do not knowingly request personal information from children through the app. A parent or guardian should supervise a child’s use, manage purchases, and contact support on the child’s behalf.
7. Data Retention
Local app data remains on your device until you delete it or remove the app. Apple and RevenueCat retain purchase and transaction information according to their legal and operational requirements. Support correspondence is retained only as long as reasonably needed to answer the request, maintain support records, and meet legal obligations. Cloudflare retains website security and delivery logs according to its policies and configured retention periods.
8. Security
AntiSick relies on iOS data protection and encrypted network connections used by Apple, RevenueCat, Cloudflare, and email providers. No storage or transmission method can guarantee absolute security.
9. International Processing
Apple, RevenueCat, Cloudflare, and email providers may process information in countries other than your own. Their privacy policies describe the safeguards they use for international processing.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when AntiSick, its service providers, or legal requirements change. The Last Updated date identifies the current version.
